Abstract AR
هدف الدراسة : لفحص مدى مساهمة منطق الجدارة و سياسة التعددية الثقافية في ضمان تكافؤ الفرص في دول مثل كندا و أستراليا و المملكة المتحدة، و مدى تعرض النساء المسلمات لإقصاء اقتصادي (تهميش) بسبب انتسابهن إلى الإسلام ؛ كما تسعى إلى فحص مدى تعرض هذه النساء لمستوى الإقصاء نفسه في الدول الثلاث.
المنهجية : توظف الدراسة مقاربة التقاطعية الهوياتية (-Intersectional ity) و العنصرية الثقافية، و تستخدم الدراسة المنهج الكمي ؛ إذ تقوم بقياس احتمال حصول النساء المسلمات على وظائف إدارية و احترافية تخصصية (الوظائف المعتبرة Salariat مقارنة بالمسيحيات من السكان البيض.
النتائج أن النساء المسلمات يتعرضن لإقصاء ناتج عن انتمائهن الديني (الإسلامي) ؛ فهن أقل حظا في الحصول على وظائف إدارية أو احترافية مقارنة بالأكثرية من النساء في الدول الثلاث.
الخلاصة : تبين هذه النتائج عجز سياسة التعددية الثقافية (Multiculturalism) من جهة، و منطق الجدارة و الاستحقاق (Meritocracy) الذي اعتمدته غالبية الدول الليبرالية في سياق ما بعد الحداثة من جهة أخرى، معيارا للمكافأة و تحديد الفرص الحياتية.
Abstract EN
Objective : this study seeks to examine whether the logic of merit and the policy of multiculturalism help ensure equal opportuni ties in Canada, Australia, and the UK.
to what extent do Muslim women face religious penalties due to their Muslim background? and to what extent are these women subjected to the same level of penalties in all three countries? methodology : the study estimates the odds of Muslim women obtaining managerial and professional jobs (Salariat jobs) compared to most Christian women by employ ing appropriate datasets to study the labour market in each of the three countries.
results : the results showed that Muslim women face penalties due to their religious affiliation.
conclusion : these results demonstrate the limitation of multiculturalism on the one hand, and the logic of meritocracy, which was adopted by most liberal states in the postmodern era on the other hand, as criteria for reward and access to life opportunities.
