Abstract EN

The research aims at designing e-learning environment using Augmented Reality Application and exploring its impact on developing Geography of Administrative Regions (GAR) achievement for primary stage pupils.

The process started by identifying the geographical characteristics of the administrative regions in Saudi Arabia, where the achievement of primary school students should be developed, and constructing a proposed e-learning environment.

The research sample consisted of 50 pupils of the fifth-grade primary school in Hisham bin Orwa Primary School in the Province of Badai - Qassim Educational Zone.

The sample was divided into two groups equally: the experimental group taught through the e-learning environment using Augmented Reality Application and the control group taught through the traditional way in the classroom.

Results revealed the existence of a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre- and post- application of GAR achievement test in favor of the post-application, as well as the existence of a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post application of GAR achievement test in favor of the experimental group, referring to the existence of a positive impact of the E- Learning Environment using Augmented Reality Application on developing GAR achievement for primary stage pupils in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
