The research aims to highlight the representations of the culture of the other and its effects in some literary works by Nerval and Voltaire after clarifying the concept of the literary image according to the well-known French comparative concept, Henry Daniel Baggio.

The research reached a number of results that shed light on the great role of the two writers' writings in changing the stereotyped image of the reader about the other, whether in the West or in the East, after Nerval had a close look at Egyptian society and after Voltaire had also been briefed on English society directly without relying on Read some of the sources I wrote earlier.

Therefore, the results of the research constitute an important point that revealed the reality of the role that the writer plays in creating a literary image of the other and his cultural identity in order to enhance cooperation and understanding among the peoples of the world despite all obstacles.
