The study found an urban imbalance between the urban centers in the study area as a result of the increase in the urban population in the center of the city of Hilla in a way that exceeds the other urban centers, which resulted in a large population concentration due to the strong influence in attracting development investments, services and infrastructure to it, as well as the loss of the advantages of arrangement the hierarchy of urban centers in the governorate in terms of population distribution and economic, administrative and community services as a result of the imbalance of the hierarchy in the distribution of population centers, which led to the exposure of the city center of Hilla to these imbalances and imbalances, which made it lose the advantages of arranging with other urban centers as a result of this unbalanced growth.
