The aim of the current research is to find out: - The level of analysis of literary texts for students of the fifth literary grade.

In order to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher built the literary text analysis test as a research tool to know the level of the fifth grade literary students in analyzing literary texts, as the test consisted of (17) paragraphs, and after checking the psychometric properties of the research test and its paragraphs, it was applied to the basic and adult research sample (300) male and female students from the fifth literary grade, (25%) by (120) male students (40%) and (180) female students (60%) were selected by random stratified method from the original research community and after analyzing the data statistically using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the following results were obtained: Fifth grade literary students have a good level in analyzing literary texts.
