What the ancient greeks believed about the fate after death and the next year, and what will be encountered once the soul crosses the gates of hades, is a complex matter, as the textual sources often tend to vary greatly in various details, and most of them do not give us a complete picture of how the arrival of the soul to its final destination and what are the characteristics of that world in which the souls settle, in addition to that the technical evidence is also lacking in this regard, given that the pictorial evidence of the other world (the world of hades) itself was relatively uncommon in ancient greece, and although some signals will be tracked and analyzed to reach the goal of the research, including the groves of persephone, lucas' rock, water barriers, and the gates leading to that world.
