This paper is a comparative and analytical study about the legal conditions required for incorporating and operating professional firms in Kuwait, and the main discussion is about law firms.

according to the Kuwaiti Companies' law and its executive regulations, the establishment of professional companies by lawyers, medical doctors, engineers, and accountants is allowed.

according to the law a professional firm is a firm that is established by two or more individuals working in the same formally recognized profession, which is regulated through special laws and regulations where the partners have to meet the official terms and conditions of practicing their profession.

in order to encourage the incorporation of law firms in Kuwait the governments issued in 2020, the needed regulations.

the paper explains the concept and classification as well as the forms of law firms in kuwait.

it explains the working mechanism of law firms in Kuwait and analyzes the major problems that may appear during the incorporation or the operation of law firms.
