The French law which approved by French National Assembly in March 2019 to confront the protests of the so-called yellow jackets is considered a reflection of the structural tensions inherent in the right to protest and the French legal system, carry indications that explicitly point to a decline It cannot be denied in protecting fundamental rights and freedoms, under the pretext of security and public order.

This paper aims at an analytical discussion of the implications of the French Constitutional Council's decision on the pace and coordination of the Yellow Vest protests, as this paper starts from the saying that the French constitutional judicial decision unequivocally revealed the size of the growing role of the administrative authority at the expense of important constitutional rights under the pretext of maintaining security.

This study is divided into four paragraphs, in the first we deal with the right to protest and demonstrate as a theoretical framework and as an introduction to the analysis of the judicial decision.

The second paragraph, we study the yellow jackets movement, the basis for its creation and its objectives, then, in the third paragraph, we analyze the protest movement between legal protection on the one hand and constitutional justice in France on the other hand.

In the fourth paragraph, we deal with legislative restrictions as features of strengthening power during protests on the one hand, and the ambiguity of the French Constitutional Council's decision on the other hand.

We concluded the research with the most important findings and recommendations.
