The US-Iranian relations have witnessed different stages in terms of cooperation and conflict.

Iran was one of the most prominent allies of the United States of America, but the political change in Iran at the end of the seventies of the last century and the arrival of a strict religious regime contributed to the tension between the two parties.

Although the US-Iranian relations have been in contradiction since 1979, the emergence of Iran's nuclear ambitions has contributed to increasing tension in this relationship.

In addition, Trump's decision to withdraw from the nuclear agreement led to an increase in tension in the relationship between the two parties.

Therefore, the research will address two requirements, which are as follows:The first requirement: the Iranian nuclear program in the strategic perception of US President Trump.
