Abstract EN

The study aims to clarify Al-Bayhaqi’s position on the issue of destiny and predestination, and what is mentioned in his book (Destiny and Predestination) of many ramifications he stood at and inferred from the Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah.

Al-Bayhaqi’s approach is summarized in his book by citing first the Qur’anic texts, then the hadiths of the Prophet, the sayings of the Companions, the followers, the narrators, the modernists and the newsmen.

The research is divided into an introduction and two sections, the introduction included a brief about the author's life, and the first topic dealt with al-Bayhaqi's position on predestination and predestination.

And his position on belief in God’s will and a position on people entering Paradise.

As for the second topic, it deals with Al-Bayhaqi’s inferences on fate and predestination, and it also includes five paragraphs: the first is what the companions and religious figures inferred, and the second is benefit and harm, both of which are in the hands of Allah Almighty, and the third is the attainment of faith in divine kindness not merely action, while the fourth, every person is resurrected in the form he died in, and the fifth is guidance and misguidance from Allah Almighty.
