Abstract EN

This thesis deals with Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani‘s Takabbat in his book« Talkhis al-Habir» in which he tracked al-Hakim al-Naisabori.

It is a study discusses a subject of the greatest importance; scholars kept tracking each other when it turned out that they misunderstood and their work lacked careful thought.

Al-Hafez Ibn Hajar was cautious about tracking the opinions of the former scholars, he drew attention to the points that al-Hakim misconceived or had illusions about.

His trackings were clear for they were proved right by evidence.

These trackings included al-Hakim‘s illusions in al-Mustadrak al al-Sahihyen, and Mareefat Ulum al-Hadith.

The issues of trackings varied including judging the validity of the narrators or judging the isnads or issues related to illusions about the real name of narrator and illusions about whether he included what imam al-Bukhari and imam Muslim had missed.

The research has shown the following conclusion: Takabbat is a beneficial science, that is scholars used to make use of the former scholars‘ efforts by tracking their opinions, correcting their mistakes and elaborating on their work.

The research affirms the necessity of not taking al-Hakim‘s correction of hadith for granted unless its isnad is studied and compared with other scholars‘ verdicts.

Ibn hajar used varied words/terms through his tracking; some of the terms showed disagreement, illusion, error, denying the validity.

Ibn hajar‘sTakabbat al al-Hakim in his al-Talkhis is estimated 85 points and this research mentioned 23 issues including 21issues in which Ibn Hajar tracked al-Hakim in his al- Mustadrak and 2 issues he tracked him in his Mareefat Ulum al-Hadith.
