The study aimed to define some of the proposed teaching styles for teaching high school physics to train the student teacher using the virtual and traditional lab, The researchers followed the semi experimental approach and the descriptive-analytical method, where the study community was represented in the student teachers at the Faculty of Education, University of Bahri, fourth level (physics) and the first-grade students of the secondary stage in Khartoum State for the academic year (2018 AD / 2019 AD), The sample of the study consisted of (34) teacher students and (1159) first-grade secondary school students in the government sector.

The study tools included the training program, a note card for student teachers, and a standardized test for first-grade secondary school students.

The data were processed statistically and by SPSS programThe study reached the following main results, the student teacher uses direct and indirect teaching styles, the most important teaching styles needed by the student teacher in the traditional laboratory are the enthusiastic style, the commanding method, and the style based on the use of students' ideas to a large extent.

The most important teaching style that a student teacher needs in the virtual lab is the training style And the style based on the feedback and the style of divergent thinking and the style of teaching discovery in large numbers there are statistically significant differences between the scores of students of the experimental group and the scores of students of the control group in the degrees of the note card.
