Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the obstacles to using the "My School" platform in students during the COVID-19 pandemic from the point of view of parents.

This study relied on descriptive statistical analysis to suit the nature of the research.

The research community comprises all parents with children using the "my school" platform in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) during the year 1441 AH/2020.

A sample study representative of the population wa selected using a random method of 154 participants.

The study's data were updated using a questionnaire consisting of twenty "two-axis" paragraphs ،the first with ten paragraphs (human handicaps) and the second with ten paragraphs (technical obstacles).

Appropriat statistical analyses were carried out ،and the study reported that the Students face several obstacles in using the "my school" platform ،notably the lack of appropriate training on the use of this platform and the absence of a positive competitive spirit among students in this platform ،as well as the weak responsiveness of the site during the rush hours ،the lack of physical access to the network ،as well as there are no statistically significant differences (P=0.05) in the general platform usage obstacles from parents' point of view according to gender variability and educational level ،while this study showed statistically significant differences (P=0.05) related to the income level variable to be attributable to the category (less than 8000) in the hub of technical constraints only.

From the study's findings ،this study recommended that a culture of learning and e-education among members of society to achieve interaction with this type of education must be promoted strongly and training students in e-learning and long-distance learning applications and platforms for more accessible ،easier ،and more reliable use.
