Abstract EN

This paper, using a descriptive-analytical method, aims to investigate the importance of resorting to parliamentary survey tasks to monitor the government's work in the face of limited results, and to explore ways to streamline the implementation of this mechanism to achieve its goals.

Parliamentary practice in Morocco during the two legislative sessions that followed the 2011 constitution revealed the limited results of parliamentary oversight through survey tasks, despite the high status of the parliamentary institution in the new constitutional engineering, where it became the second institution after the royal institution.

Despite the fact that the permanent parliamentary committees were assigned many survey tasks during the legislative session of 2016-2021, their work results were limited, which raises the need to streamline and rationalize this important oversight mechanism.
