Abstract EN

This study aims to investigate the strategic mechanisms by which the political system in Morocco, along with the actors within this system, intervenes for preemptive control and tactical management of any potential normative deviation or departure from the criteria of the constitutional document and the foundational principles of the political theory on which the government system is based .

The study identifies three strategic mechanisms that were employed in the Moroccan constitutional experience to serve the aforementioned purpose: the constitutional deferral mechanism, the constitutional freezing mechanism, and the constitutional modulation mechanism.

The study concludes by confirming the central role of these strategic mechanisms in preserving the fundamental principles of the political theory that underlie the Moroccan government system.
