Localisation rare du kyste hydatique : l’aile iliaque

Introduction : hydatid cyst is a public health problem in endemic areas.

it mainly affects the liver and lungs.

bone involvement is rare and represents only 0.5 to 2% of hydatid sites, and exceptionally concerns the iliac wing.

the aim of our work was to study the clinical, radiological and therapeutic features of hydatid cyst of the iliac wing.

case report : we report a rare case of iliac wing hydatidosis in a 44-year-old female patient with no pathological history.

she was admitted for low back pain.

the diagnosis was made based on the findings of magnetic resonance imaging and the positive hydatid serology.

the patient was treated with albendazole for 15 months with good progress.

conclusion : hydatidosis of the iliac wing is rare.

the clinical signs are nonspecific.

the evolution is usually favorable under treatment.

Introduction : le kyste hydatique constitue un problème de santé publique dans les zones endémiques.

il touche essentiellement le foie et le poumon.

l'atteinte osseuse est rare et ne représente que 0,5 à 2% des localisations hydatiques et concerne exceptionnellement l'os iliaque.

l'objectif de notre travail était d'étudier les caractéristiques cliniques, radiologiques et thérapeutiques du kyste hydatique de l'aile iliaque.

observation : nous rapportons un cas rare d'hydatidose de l'aile iliaque chez une patiente âgée de 44 ans sans antécédents pathologiques qui a été admise pour douleurs lombo-fessières.

le diagnostic était retenu devant l'aspect obtenu à l'imagerie par résonnance magnétique et la sérologie hydatique positive.

la patiente a été traitée par de l'albendazole pendant 15 mois avec bonne évolution.

conclusion : l'hydatidose de l'aile iliaque est rare.

elle est caractérisée par un tableau clinique non spécifique.

l'évolution sous traitement est généralement favorable.
