Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the concept of violence and school violence, the types of violence that is practiced on the student, the violence it emanates from, and its physical, verbal, and psychological forms.

The study also deals with the causes of school violence related to the family, school, society, and the media.

And the economic, political, psychological, social, and cultural factors that lead to violence, and the indicators that contribute to the emergence of school violence such as genetic, school, and family trends in education, and the most important results and effects of school violence in terms of emotional, social, behavioral, and educational aspects.

The study followed the descriptive approach in Collecting information, analyzing it, and reaching results.

The study found the importance of the role of both the family and the school in confronting school violence, and proposed educational solutions to deal with, reduce, and treat school violence, such as : providing a sound educational climate, and establishing deterrent disciplinary measures for people who practice violence against others or property.

And the development of the principles of volunteer work, and cooperation between the school and parents in solving students' problems if they occur, in order to avoid their aggravation, and urging the principles of ethics and higher values that constitute a protective shield for the individual from falling into error and deviation, by including in the educational freedom of expression, and self confidence.
