Abstract EN

The Madghara region represents a model of the oasis of Morocco during the 18th and 19th centuries AD.

However, although it was the scene of microscopic historical events related to the general life of the individual within the tribe, the nature of the social, economic and political structures that the region knew made it inseparable from the history of Morocco at the time, due to the conditions that were besetting the country, such as foreign pressures, the movement of Sufism, and productive activity.

And the commercial activity, which qualified the scholars of Madghara and its guardians to carry out jobs that directed the history of the region and linked it to the history of Morocco at the time.
