عني هذا البحث بالكشف عن الرؤى و التصورات المطابقة للمخيال الكونيالي عن الشرق في رواية "واحة الغروب" لبهاء طاهر ؛ بحثا عن علية هذه المطابقة من خلال تأويل مكونات السرد و عناصر بنائه : مكانا، و زمانا، و شخوصا ، وحبكة سردية تأويلا يرتكز على تساؤلات أهمها لماذا "واحة سيوة" ؟ و لماذا نهايات القرن التاسع عشر ؟ و لماذا تستعار عناصر كتابة الرحلة لكتابة الرواية ؟.

هذه التساؤلات جعلت البحث يسعى إلى الإمساك بثيمة "الثقافة" و الإمبريالية في الرواية عينة الدراسة من خلال أرشفة عوالمها، و علة توظيف عناصر كتابة الرحلة، و تكثيف صورة الشرق الممسوخة في المخيال الكولونيالي.

English Abstract

This research is concerned with revealing the visions and perceptions thatcorrespond to the cosmopolitan imagination of the Orient in the novel “Sunset Oasis”by Bahaa Taher.

In search of the causality of this correspondence through theinterpretation of the components of the narration and the elements of its construction:place, time, characters, and narrative plot, an interpretation based on questions, themost important of which is why “Siwa Oasis”? Why the end of the nineteenth century?Why are the elements of writing the journey borrowed to write the novel? Thesequestions made the research seek to capture the theme of “culture and imperialism” inthe study sample novel through archiving its worlds, the reason for employing theelements of writing the journey, and intensifying the distorted image of the Orient inthe colonial imagination.
