The aim of the study is to identify the impact of Israeli settlement on the social and economic conditions in Palestine, to know the historical development of Israeli settlement and its pillars, to identify the Israeli motives for settlement in Palestine, and to identify the social and economic effects of settlement.

It dealt with the goals of settlement and its main pillars, its motives, and the social and economic effects of settlement, as the Israeli settlement in the West Bank and Gaza Strip is not settlement in the demographic sense, but rather it is settlement based on a settlement basis, and it has had an impact on the Palestinian social situation.

The study relied on the historical method, which aims to describe and record the facts and past activities of the human community, and because of the difficulty of directly observing past events in the subject of the study, the researcher turned to using historical tools such as sources related to the event and social phenomenon, and they will be studied inductively, based on criticism, analysis and knowledge of the reasons for their occurrence And its relationship to the rest of the other phenomena in that time period.
