Arabic Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على أثر الخصائص الجغرافية الطبيعية في قضاء الديوانية في بناء و امتداد طرق النقل البرية على انه ليس ثمة عامل منفرد في أحداث هذا التأثير، إنما هناك جملة عوامل تضافرت و تفاعلت في رسم ملامح تلك الطرق، و قد توصل البحث إلى أن المعطيات الطبيعية سهلت من مد مسارات طرق النقل بمرونة بين الوحدات الإدارية للقضاء و بين المناطق المجاورة لها مما اسهم في تطور الحركة في القضاء بحكم هذا الاتصال كما توصل البحث إلى أن منطقة الدراسة تمتاز بأهمية الموقع الجغرافي الذي أعطى لها أهمية خاصة و دورا حيويا بالنسبة لطرق النقل، و جعل لها أهمية اقتصادية و اجتماعية، فقد ارتبط الشكل العام لشبكة طرق النقل البرية الرئيسة و الثانوية و الريفية بموقعها مما جعلها حلقة و صل بين محافظات الوسط و الجنوب و سهل الاتصال يبنهما مما أعطى ميزة إيجابية لمنطقة الدراسة.

أما الموارد المائية فقد كان لها دور كبير و أثرا متميزا في رسم مسارات طرق النقل و أطوالها و التي اقترنت مع طبيعة امتداد الموارد المائية في قضاء الديوانية.

English Abstract

This research aims to shed light on the effect of the natural geographicalcharacteristics of Al-Diwaniyah district in the construction and extension oftransportation routes, However, there is no single factor in this effect, but there arefactors involved and interacted in fee of these roads, The research concluded that thenatural data facilitated the flexible extension of transportation routes between theadministrative units of the judiciary and its neighboring areas, which contributed tothe development of movement in it by virtue of this connection.

The research alsoconcluded that the study area is characterized by the importance of the geographicallocation, which gave it a special importance and a vital role in terms of transportationroads, It has economic and social importance, The general shape of the main,secondary and rural road transport network is linked to its location Which made it alink between the central and southern governorates and easy communication betweenthem, which gave a positive advantage to the study area, As for the water resources,they had a great role and a distinct impact in drawing the paths and lengths oftransportation routes, which were associated with the nature of the extension of waterresources in the district of Al-Diwaniyah.
