The life of Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) is a life full of many aspects that we can benefit from its implications in our present time, including what Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) faced from a serious crisis after the testimony of his father, Imam Musa bin Jaafar al Kadhim (peace be upon him).

Except that it is the fitnah of the waqif who stood for the imam of Imam Musa bin Jaafar (peace be upon them), and therefore we decided to write about the waqif and the methods that Imam al Rida (peace be upon him) adopted in confronting them, so we divided our research into two topics : The first topic : we dealt with the definition of the Waqif and their founders, the reasons for their endowment, and then their intellectual adoptions.

The second topic : We have limited the methods of Imam Al-Rida (peace be upon him) in confronting them.
