Abstract EN

Documents constitute one of the sources for studying the history of Makkah Al Mukarramah in the Fatimid era since they contain several important aspects, which have been neglected by historical sources.

They are varied, including records, pamphlets, covenants, traditions, tickets, security and example.

Those documents were found in contemporary Fatimid sources along with other sources that were quoted, but their origins have not reached researchers.

This has increased reliance on them in the study of the history of Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

This research is divided into an introduction to introduce and identify those documents from various historical and literary sources, how and where to announce them and analyse their historical material related to Makkah Al-Mukarramah, whether political events, economic conditions or religious aspects in regard to Hajj and judiciary in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

It concludes with the key findings reached through examining those documents on the history of Makkah Al-Mukarramah in the Fatimid era.
