This research aims to identify the requirements for developing women’s awareness in family counseling centers.

To protect her children from social extremism.

In order to achieve the goal of the research, an electronic questionnaire was designed and directed to professional practitioners in family counseling centers.

(240 professionals) answered the questionnaire.

Among the most important results of this research: The study sample agreed on the importance of providing women in the family with the following requirements: knowledge, value and skills with high averages.

For the purpose of enabling her to protect her children from social extremism.

Social values outweigh skills, and knowledge was the least of the three axes.

As for the most important recommendations, they were as follows: The role of the family guide in developing women’s awareness is determined in four stages, namely: (1) Forming a general image of women on social extremism, and the requirements necessary to protect their children from it, (2) identifying the requirements that are lacking and which need to be trained on; In order to be able to protect her children from social extremism, (3) provide training courses, dialogue sessions and individual interviews, (4) ensure that women acquire the necessary requirements to de-.velop their awareness and enable them to protect their children from social extremism
