Abstract EN

To achieve this research goal, the researcher adopted and translated the (De Young Gerveld, Havens 2020) scale to measure psychological unity, which in its final form consisted of (20) items, and prepared the dogmatic scale according to the theory (Rokich, 1954) which in its final form consisted of (17) items After verifying their validity and stability, and analyzing their paragraphs statistically, which was applied to the research sample of (400) male and female students from the College of Arts, they were selected by the stratified random method and in a proportional manner, and after completing the procedures of the two research standards, the researcher extracted the results of his research.

The research concluded that students have psychological loneliness in general in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that students have cognitive closure (dogmatism) in general, and there is a positive correlation and statistical significance between psychological loneliness and cognitive closure (dogmatism) among students of the Faculty of Arts.

Based on the results of the research, the researcher developed a set of recommendations and suggestions.
