Abstract EN

The objective of this study was to measure the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom strategy in the development of achievement and the attitude towards mathematics among the first-grade students in Hail.

The study used a semi-experimental approach, which is based on two experimental and control groups and pretest and posttest.

The achievement test was constructed from (20) paragraphs, while the attitudes scale towards mathematics consisted from (24) paragraphs based on Likert scale.

The study sample consisted of (54) students distributed equally to the experimental and control group.

The experimental group studied using the Flipped Classroom strategy the units of Shapes, Binary and three-dimensional.

The control group studied the same topics using the traditional method.

The T test was used for independent samples to answer the study questions.

The results of the study showed the effectiveness of the strategy of Flipped Classroom on achievement and the attitude toward mathemat ics among the first-grade students compared to the traditional method.
