Abu al-Abbas al-Mubarrad was famous for his proficiency in linguistics, and from the famous Shiha between Abu Othman al-Mazni, the author of the grammar, and Abu Omar al-Jarhi, two of the most prominent students of the middle horizon.

Al-Mubarrad was also extensive in culture, and his culture and knowledge were not limited to the manner, but his culture expanded to poetry, and he had poetry that indicates his poetic ability.

Among his books that dealt with literature besides language, grammar and morphology is his book ((Al-Kamil fi Al-Lughah wa Al-Adab)).

He was considered one of the four books that literature is indispensable for, and the other are Al-Bayat and Al-Tabeen by Al-Jahiz and Al-Amali by Abi Ali Al-Qasi and Adab Al-Kitab by Ibn Qutayba.

In the third century, the Arabic grammar reached the age of Al-Mubarrad, the stage of the end of the mujtahids in it, and at the hands of Al-Mubarrad this approach reached its maturity and its foundations became clear in listening and analogy
