The factors of social, cultural and economic change that began with the beginning of the monarchy in Iraq took their way towards calling for the education of the people and the advancement of all its segments in line with the new political stage that Iraq entered, and from it a group of intellectuals emerged demanding the liberation of women and the affirmation of their distinguished position in society.

To the Islamic civilizational heritage, which attaches great importance to women, the participation of women in society was not limited to Arab calls only, but in this area, correct national calls emerged that came as a response to the injustice and persecution Iraqi women suffered due to the accumulation of the bitter reality that Iraqi women were living through.

At that time, the history of Iraq was full of the lives of a number of pioneering Iraqi women in issues of women and society.

Their efforts crystallized in the establishment of several feminist associations and clubs, with the support of the women of the royal family.

These associations had honorable efforts in the contemporary history of Iraq.
