Abstract EN

The current research aimed to know the effect of using the electronic brainstorming method on students’ achievement of teaching methods in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences / College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basrah for the academic year 2021-2022.

The research community reached (73) male and female students, of which the research sample was represented by (32) The sample was distributed equally between the experimental group (16) and the control group (16), males and females for both groups.

As for the research tool, the researcher designed and built an achievement test, and in light of this, he worked to determine the desired behavioral goals of remembering, understanding and applying, and the apparent validity and content validity and stability of the test were extracted by splitting the half, where the reliability coefficient of the test was (0.50) and the middle (0.061).

And in the process of answering the hypotheses of the research, the researcher used the statistical packages for social sciences (SPSS) to analyze and process the data, and from these statistics: the t-test for two independent samples - the chi-square equation - and the standard deviation - and the arithmetic mean - and the split-half coefficient.

, as it revealed the existence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental and control group in the subject of teaching methods, through the post-test of the questions at the levels: remembering (2.322), at the level of understanding (1.293) and at the level of application (2.891), and this indicates the effectiveness of the method Electronic brainstorming in teaching.

The research concluded with a number of recommendations and proposals, the most important of which are: the need to include the electronic brainstorming method within the vocabulary of teaching methods in faculties of education, as it is one of the most important modern teaching methods, and to work on addressing the same independent variables in the current research, but using other interactive educational environments that are different from the environments Google meet , Google classroom.
