The study aims to research the textual thresholds of selected narrative models, as critics and writers in ancient studies, whether Western or Arab, were interested in studying the literary text from all its internal aspects as an analytical study, and with the development of the critical arena, researchers took note of the importance of the external aspects of the text and this is called text thresholds .

Just as every house has a threshold, the thresholds of the text represent keys and ciphers through which the reader can access the depths of the text, break into its worlds, and know its secrets.

Therefore, I chose a group of novels to study their thresholds, and this is a desire to reveal the ambiguity of many aspects surrounding the text.
