The study aimed to identify the relationship between cognitive failures and attentional control and their dimensions among students of the College of Education, University of Hail, where the study relied on the descriptive correlative approach.

The study indicated that there is a negative correlation between cognitive failures and its dimensions and between cognitive control and its dimensions, in addition to the fact that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of male and female students in cognitive failure and that there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of male and female students in attentional control, and there are also Sta tistically significant differences between the average scores of the first three academic teams in cogni tive failure and were in favor of the first school group, and that there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the first three academic teams in attentional control, and at the end of the results it was possible to predict cognitive failure in the light of Performance on a scale of attentional control.
