Abstract EN

This research deals with a poetic text, which is the poem of the black lily (ALZABGA AL SAWDAA) by the poet Muhammad Suleiman Al-Shibl.

He tries to approach it according to the semiotic approach, by revealing deep connotations and hidden meanings, based on the study of linguistic signs, which are considered the first entrance to get into the world of the text and decipher it.

The research will conduct an analysis that includes title semiotics and textual parallelism, in addition to the different text struc tures (surface and deep, phonetic, lexical).
