El Tarf falls within the North-Eastern tourist pole of excellence due to its strategic location as a border area and a transit point towards the neighboring country of Tunisia.

the Willaya is considered as a tourist destination due to its rich and diverse tourist attractions that make it enjoy five (05) tourist expansion areas extending from the far east (Kala) to its far west (Chatt), where several tourism projects have been programmed in order to develop and enhance local and national tourism offer capabilities.

this research aims to present a recent quantitative study on the mechanisms of developing the capabilities of the tourism supply in the Willaya of el Tarf by promoting sustainable tourism investment in the areas of tourist expansion (Missida, Rosa Summit, Henaya, Mafragh east, and Mafragh west), focusing on the presentation and evaluation of the governmental measures included in the tourism development guideline of the Willaya.
