Abstract EN

The current research aimed to identify 1- Double thinking among university students 2- Significance of differences in double thinking among university students at the level (0.05) according to the variable of specialization (scientific, human) and gender (male, female) 3- The perceived academic self-efficacy of university students 4- Significance of differences in the perceived academic competence of university students at the level (0.05) according to the variable of specialization (scientific, human) and gender (male, female) 5- The nature of the relationship between doublethink and perceived academic self efficacy.

The research was determined by identifying dual thinking and perceived academic self-efficacy among male and female students of Al-Mustansiriya University and for scientific and human specializations.

Statistically significant in double thinking according to the gender variable in favor of female students.

There are no statistically significant differences according to the specialization variable between students of scientific and human specialization, and the results also indicated that university students enjoy perceived academic self-efficacy, and there are no statistically significant differences according to the gender variable, and there are perceived academic self-efficacy differences according to the specialization variable (scientific - human).

In favor of students of colleges with scientific specialization, and the results indicated that there is no correlation between double thinking and perceived academic self-efficacy, and the researcher recommended a set of recommendations and proposals
