Abstract EN

The current research aims at identifying : 1.The humanistic and normative behavior of adults according to the variables of age (19, 20, 21, 22) years, and gender (males and females), 2.

The significance of the differences in humanistic and normative behavior according to the variables of age and gender.

To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher relied on the scale of the short version (short ps43) of humanistic and normative behavior prepared by Stone and Schaffiner (Stone & Schaffiner, 1988), which is a self-report tool consisting of (40) pairs of opposite paragraphs.

After deleting three paragraphs of it from the arbitrators, The researcher translated the scale into Arabic, And verify the validity of its translation, and all its standard characteristics after applying it to the research sample of (400) male and female students, equally between males and females, and the data obtained from the sample were statistically processed and the following results were reached : 1The prevalence of human behavior at all ages of the research, with an evolutionary increase in the normative behavior.

2 The prevalence of human behavior in females and its presence in males in lower rates, with a clear increase in the normative behavior of both sexes at the oldest age.

3 There are no statistically significant differences in human behavior according to age and gender.

There are statistically significant differences in the standard behavior according to age and gender in favor of the older age.

The researcher came out with a set of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.
