Abstract EN

The aim of the research to identify the level anxiety and its relationship to creativity among middle school students, and for the purpose of verifying this, the researcher adopted the (Tyler Anxiety Scale) and the scale is derived from the list of the Minnesota Multifaceted Personality Scale (1943).

It consists of (50) items.

As for the creative thinking scale, the researcher depends on the Torrens Creative Thinking Scale.

This scale can be applied to various levels of study and is suitable for individual application as well.

Each of the tests included in the test measures the three abilities of innovative thinking, which are (fluency, flexibility, and originality), And that the sum of the degrees of these abilities represents the total degree of Creative thinking, which is the sum of the degrees of intellectual fluency, flexibility and originality in each items scale.

The results showed that 46% of the sample of (200) middle school students enjoy normal anxiety, and that 50,33% of the sample suffer from moderate anxiety, while the percentage of those who suffer from high intensity anxiety amounted 20,50.

It was found that females suffer more than males in the severity of anxiety, as well as the result of the research showed that there is a positive correlation between moderate intensity anxiety and the degrees of the creative thinking scale, while it was found that there is a negative correlation between high intensity anxiety and creative thinking among the members of the research sample.
