The study aimed to identify the role of sport in achieving the fifth goal in sustainable development at the supreme council for youth and sports in the state of Palestine (a case study).

(human resources department-youth department-Palestine marathon department) the study included identifying the indicators of the fifth goal of sustainable development 2015, and these indicators are achieving equality and providing opportunities for appointment in available jobs by describing employees and leadership positions in the supreme council for youth and sports according to gender and achieving equality and participation opportunities for administrators, volunteers, and beneficiaries in the youth department programs according to gender, achieving equality and participation opportunities for volunteers, referees, and beneficiaries in the Palestine marathon department by describing the curve of change in the marathon editions since 2013-2021, depending on gender.

the results of the research confirmed that the policies of the supreme council in all departments achieve the indicators of the fifth goal of development sustainable, especially in participating in programs and camps, as well as volunteering in various programs and events for the benefit of gender, and in the direction of the exponential increase every year in the percentage of administrators in the various departments of the supreme council for youth and sports.
