Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the attitudes of Jordanian women towards participating in the upcoming 2024 parliamentary elections on a partisan basis.

a scale of attitudes consisting of (20) items was built, and after verifying its validity and reliability, it was applied to a sample of (309) who are entitled to join parties and vote.

the results showed that the level of Jordanian women’s attitudes towards participation in the upcoming 2024 parliamentary elections on a partisan basis was average, and the results did not show any statistically significant differences in the Jordanian women’s attitudes towards participation in the upcoming 2024 parliamentary elections on a partisan basis due to the variables of income, educational qualification, or place of residence.

in light of these results, the studies came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is that political parties study the challenges facing Jordanian women in running for elections on a partisan basis, and conduct more studies on this subject due to its importance in enhancing the political participation of Jordanian women.
