Abstract EN

In this research paper, I discussed an important issue, namely the internal secular concordance in the methods and approaches of interpretation.

this was accomplished through defining the methods linguistically and technically, as well as defining both esotericism and secularism separately in language and terminology.

then, I proceeded to elucidate the methods used by both Esotericists and secularists.

among the methods adopted by Esotericists in interpretation were the linguistic method, the numerical method, the method of transmission, and the method of structure.

the intended meanings of these methods were clarified and exemplified.

similarly, the methods of secularists and their approaches to dealing with texts were described, including the linguistic, historical, semiotic, and hermeneutic methods, with examples provided for each method.

in the final section, I highlighted the similarities between them in their methods.

they share the linguistic approach, but they utilize it incorrectly and inaccurately.

moreover, they heavily rely on symbolism in their interpretations of religious texts.

in the last part, I clarified points of convergence between the two groups in the interpretative process overall.

the result is that there is intellectual and methodological convergence between Esotericists and secularists in the process of interpreting texts.
