Abstract EN

This research has addressed the Sensual Representation in the artistic image of the Yemeni poet Abdul Aziz Al-Maqaleh in the light of the aesthetic approach.

The problem of the current research is the study of sensual representation, in the direct impact of the senses in the formation of the artistic image.

The research aims to recognize the functions of visual composition to identify the role of the employment of colors and lights poetically, and to know the effect of the audio image in formulating the poetic meaning, and the olfactory perceptions and its effect in presenting the poetic artistic image.

The importance of this research lies in addressing the sensual aspect from the artistic image in the poetry of Abdul Aziz alMaqaleh.

In this research, the descriptive analytical approach has been adopted, and the results of the research have shown the importance of the sensory aspect of the artistic image.

These could be the employment of visual and auditory components, as sensory stimuli that attracts the attention of the recipient, and provokes the mental strength, as well as its importance in motivating of the receiving process .
