This is a summary of a book titled Research on Endowment Developments), authored by Professor Dr.

Osama Abdel Majid Al-Ani.

The book, 309 pages, included six chapters after the introduction in addition to the conclusion.

The main idea of this book revolves around the concept that needs are constantly evolving with the advancements in technology, which has led to the emergence of new developments that were not previously addressed by Sharia law.

As Muslims are obliged to follow Sharia law, it is necessary to understand the appropriate rulings for each issue.

This applies to the concept of waqf, which is not immune to these changes.

With the movement of capital, the speed of its transfer, and the development of investment formulas and markets, the waqf faces challenges that require research to find solutions.

This book aims to address some of the issues related to the waqf, including the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has affected various aspects of life, especially health and the economy.

By addressing these issues and providing rulings on them, this book aims to revitalize the important role of waqf in society.

It is noteworthy that the recent advancement in waqf legislation and the establishment of independent bodies and trusts emphasize the need for such a book to prepare for the future of the waqf.
