Abstract EN

The objective of the research is to determine the effectiveness of a small games program using Montessori activities on improving some of the elementary knowledge of kindergarten children.

The researcher has used the experimental approach to serve the research nature.

The research sample included (60) children, (40) children of them were a reconnaissance sample and (20) children were a primary sample, who selected in a deliberate manner at Omar bin Abdulaziz School in Beni Suef governorate.

The researcher has used materials such as (Elementary knowledge tests and an observing form of the emotional and social aspects under consideration.

The researcher has used statistical methods such as (arithmetic average, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach's alpha, Man-Whitney U test, Wilcoxen test, effect size).

The results revealed that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post measurements of the research sample, in favor of the post measurement average in improving the elementary knowledge, which are in Arabic and English letters, and Arabic and English numbers, geometric shapes, primary colors, and names of birds and animals under consideration.

The results also revealed statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre and post measurements in modifying some of the sample emotional and social aspects under consideration.
