The legal protection of personal data has become of paramount importance and constitutes a paramount necessity after the great development in the processing of data or personal data, 'where the need has become urgent to protect this data as it is closely related to private life and it is not permissible for the public or for those who do not hold a legal status or a legal license to view it.' 09.08 relating to the protection of personal persons towards the processing of personal data, as well as Qatari Law No.

13 of 2016 on the protection of personal data.
