Abstract EN

This study aims to control the concept of (narrative image) in novel (Shadows of Jafr) by studying the image of the place as an essential component whose limits combine the elements of the narrative architecture of the image.

This research presented a number of demands distributed in one chapter, the first requirement presented the icons of the village and the city, while the second dealt with the iconic image in both the house and the house, while the third demand: the iconic depiction in the room and the retreat.

These icons revealed that the importance of place as a necessary element in the formation of the narrative image in the novel (Shadows of Jafr), and the novel transmitted through it accurate images of many details that touched it, especially since spatial photography has occupied a wide area of the narration that can form tangible borders.

Through this, the research reached the independence of narrative photography from narrow rhetorical photography, in addition to the fact that (the place) in the novel was a vivid image that pulsates through people‟s relationships, and the sequence of events in a successive photographic interaction that was able to reach the (narrative image) to another shore liberated from a dam.
