Abstract EN

The current study aims at investigating the nature of the rhythmical structure of texts intended to be sung in Mehri poetry produced in melody Arabic.

This comes as the researcher's observation of scholars' refrainment in investigating such kind of texts through studying and analyzing, confining to selected samples of Haaj Da'koon's lyrical poems.

The nature of the study has necessitated it to be divided into two focal points.

The first narrates about the poet, and his social and literary life.

While the second part was devoted to the core of the topic through analyzing the texts specified for the study, facilitating the relationship between poetry and singing, as well as the elements of the poetic verse text.
