The research aims to identify the role of community participation in the local development process, and the importance of the research comes as it embodies social responsibility in a real partnership in various aspects of life, and the descriptive analytical approach was relied on in order to diagnose the reality of the target communities.

The research came out with a number of results, the most important of which is the weakness of community participation in plans, policies, programs and development projects, the development interventions are also incomplete, either due to the low level of equipment or the lack of staff, As well as the emergence of some coexistence strategies on the part of the population due to the absence or weakness of those needs and their poor presence at the level of the individual and the family, such as rationalization of water or methods of bringing it and buying it by some, and also in health and education.

Among the most important recommendations of this research: activating community participation in development plans, policies and programs in the different stages of development plans, except in preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
