Abstract EN

This study aimed to measure the impact of exports on economic growth in Palestine during the period (1995 - 2019), using four variables: dependent variable are gross domestic product (GDP) representatives of economic growth, and three explanatory variables: exports, capital accumulation and compensation of employees.

regression analysis (simple and multiple) has been used, adding a dummy variable which is the political variable.

The results showed significant each variable exports and capital accumulation and worker's compensation, is clear from the study that the variable exports carry signal is negative and a negative impact on economic growth, is likely to be attributed that to the practices of the Israeli closures and siege of security reasons, especially that 90% of the exports pushed the heading to Israel, and that makes Palestinian exports is largely affected by the Israeli practices, as well as condolences to the reason that Palestinian exports manufactured based on raw materials and catalytic high costs that are imported and control the entry of Israel and therefore would not find a place in competitive markets and Arab World.

As is clear from the study, the positive impact of variable capital accumulation and compensation of employees on economic growth in Palestine.

Finally, the study recommended the search for the real reasons behind making the variable exports in its current form have a negative impact on economic growth in Palestine and studies and to develop solutions to make the export sector is heading in the right direction according to the hypothesis of growth based on exports (Export Led Growth).
