Iraq has been exposed to many rapid events.

The most dangerous of them is perhaps the control of ISIS over Mosul its second largest city in June 2014.

Soon the terrorist organization took control of several cities one by one till the invasion reached to third of Iraq's governorates.

The year 2014 was one of the worst years in Iraq in terms of the humanitarian situation where the control of ISIS over the many cities of Iraq led to the largest wave of internal and external displacement.

Terrorist conflicts and displacements have left many social economic health and psychological impacts on society in general and on families in particular.

After the liberation of the cities of Iraq from the terrorist organization it became necessary to start a new phase of building and reconstruction to rehabilitate the families displaced to their areas as well as to rehabilitate them at all levels by reintegrating them into their societies.

This means that the reintegration of families affected by the conflict depends on the ability of social policies to overcome the challenges of social integration through viable strategies and have sufficient flexibility to overcome the possible variables.

Therefore the current study focused on clarifying the most prominent challenges of social integration of families affected by the conflict.
