Abstract EN

The research aimed to reveal the effect of a cognitive journey with (few-many) sources in the development of some concepts of food culture to the kindergarten child.

in order to achieve this goal, the researchers used the two groups experimental design, and they applied the concepts of food culture test before and after on the two experimental groups.

the research included ; independent variable which is the cognitive journey with (few-many) sources, and dependent variable which is the concepts of food culture in two dimensions.

the first dimension is the components of the digestive system and the food journey inside the digestive system.

the second dimension is the food pyramid and the components of the proper diet and the harmful diet.

the research sample consisted of (60) children a boy and a girl in two experimental groups, each group consisted of (30) children and girls.

the results of the research showed a statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the average scores of the children of the first experimental group (which was exposed to a cognitive journey with few sources) and the second experimental group (which was exposed to a cognitive journey with many sources in both the pre-and post-application of the food concepts test).

the result was in favor of the second experimental group, which was exposed to a cognitive journey with many sources due to the basic impact of the cognitive journey with many sources in the development of the concepts of food culture.
