Abstract EN

This research deals with a topic that arose with the emergence of ancient civilizations, flourished with the flourishing of science and developed with the development of successive historical eras, namely libraries.

Libraries are not recent in emergence, existence and spread in society.

We talked and told stories from that glorious history, and the movement of books and libraries had a large share of this Islamic civilization.

As for scholars, they worked to advance the wheel of creativity, codification and authorship in all fields of knowledge and science to immortalize the knowledge and knowledge that their fingertips wrote on the various writing materials that were used throughout Ages until that scientific prosperity reached its peak in the Abbasid era, and as a result of that development and that scientific revolution, the need for a specialized role emerged to preserve that product, and what was written down of science, so different types of libraries appeared.

It is a serious source of science, culture and knowledge as a result of the development and expansion of fields of knowledge and the speed in the need for information and the absence of the impact of existing libraries.

In general, all of this has put libraries before a great challenge in being truly one of the cultural and intellectual institutions of the society, and to highlight its role and importance, and to reveal its valuable potentials to benefit from, and to gain more from.

All of these reasons prompted me to choose the topic and subject it to research.
